What is sweeping / topping authorisation?

A:

This is a security measure that allows you to set the rules for when sweeping / topping transactions need authorisation. You can choose single authorisation, dual authorisation or both, and set different thresholds for each. These rules apply whether the transaction is created manually, using the Create ad-hoc transaction option, or automatically by Global Liquidity.

If you do not select single or dual authorisation, any sweeping or topping transactions will Straight Through Process (STP). This means that, with the exception of ‘Funds Authorisation', they will not be subject to any authorisation by your organisation prior to being automatically released at cut-off time.
